Default auto-x a automatic prelude

Ok Hears my question.

I blew my trani about 2 months ago at the last auto-x I had . I wanted to do a Auto-Manual swap but The Honda Transmission Guru Hear in Colorado said it would not be a good idea because it would screw with the computer system of the car and not work properly. Gurrr. So im thinking im not going to be able to race the lude anymore . So im wanting some opinions on weather I might be able to continue to race the lude even if it is a auto or should I just give up on racing the lude .

An auto to manual conversion is not a financially sound proposition. If you want a manual trans sell your car and buy another one. You will end up ahead financially compared to doing the conversion.

But there's nothing wrong with an auto trans prelude. You won't win at Nationals but you can still have fun locally. Enjoy the car you have until you have the funding to get the car you want ( isn't that a CSNY song? )

regards,
alan

Yeah, If anything leave it in 2nd.

There are a lot of problems with full autos that don't hold gears selected.

You can't utilize any engine braking or any throttle over-steer. I rode along with a friend in an auto civic and it was dull to say the least.

Just get a manual, there soo much fun.

Reason i did not get a manual first is when i bought the car i could not drive a manual very well and i really didn't know much about racing/Auto-x . But since last year My uncle and my best friend have really gotten me into the sport and i love it . Im still really pretty new to the car scene and being a girl doesn't help much *eye roll* Thanks ya'll for your opinions it's helped .

Plus you can use that as an excuse when you don't win your class, or if you do win your class you can throw it in everyone's face.
