question bout remote start?
unless you have a stick shift and accidently left your car in gear and some how you forgot about it and BAM...
i think your dealer will give you crap if you bring the car back for warranty.

some guy in the EG forum had a remote start on his car and his dad left it in gear without telling him so when he started his car the car jumped the curb and slammed into his neighbors house

1) Pyramid
2) Bulldog Security
3) DesignTech
4) Omega</TD></TR></TABLE>
i wouldnt recommend any of the above brands, most have such limited range the remote start is useless due to the fact you cant even start it from inside the house. we recently started installing compustar remote starts, awesome range, great reliability. if you dont want to spend that kind of money autopage is a pretty good value.

(sorry for hijacking the thread)
In one of the description's bulldog security gave, it states that some have a 1000 ft. range
How do these remote starts work anyhow, if it starts with a remote, no key in the ignition is necessary right?

Ohh my dear friend Cyrus.....lol i got the viper 2way alarm system it comes with a little pager and has a 1000ft range the coolest thing about it is that it'll tell you exactly whats going on w/ your car and which part of the car recived the shock(you have to have more then 1 sensor) there is no key needed in the ingnition but when you start the car you cannot drive it untill you insert the key and turn it and then press the brake....then you can shift into gear <automatic, as far as stick goes.....no idea how it works cuz never seen it personaly
