Default Questions about this swap???

I tied searching and didnt know what to write to search.....i have a 91 integra ls that i want to swap a 94 ls motor into......i ahve done everything else to a car except swap motors.....what do need to do? can i swap it with out gettin the ecu and wiring harness and is there any shortcuts? i need help asap and need any info available thanks in advance

i am goin make it an ls/vtec eventually but need to get the car running first

The easiest thing to do, would be to take all of the obd0 components off the '91 and put them on the '94 motor. This would include: complete intake manifold, distributor, engine wiring harness, and maybe alternator(depends on if the plugs are the same(I cant remember)).

Then the only thing you will have to change is the plug for the radiator fan switch. On your '91, the sensor is in the back of the block, but on the '94 it sits on the thermostat housing.
This is very easy. Its 2 wires. Cut the connector off of the '91 harness and put on the new connector(use any round Honda 2 pin connector, they're all the same). Thats it.

The '94 motor will now be obd0, so you reuse your '91 ecu, injector resistor box, exhaust manifold, etc.

edit- Also I believe you will have to reuse the '91 driver side mount(the one that bolts to the block itself). I cant remember if the '94 mount will work or not. Just look at the two mounts, if they look different bolt the '91 mount to the '94 block. If they look the same, just leave it.
