Default HELP water got into my intake

I was driving home and i hit this huge puddle where it was flooded but couldn't avoid it since i didn't see it around the turn. My civic started making funny noises from the intake area and my alarm got set off because it got wet. I was close to home so i was trying to go and then after a little bit of driving the sound went away the alarm was going off still and i tried to manually turn it off with the key until i noticed the key broke. then the alarm slowly died and got quieter. not sure what to do now. Help! Please!

remove your spark plugs and crank the motor, water should spit out.

if you were able to drive it home its probably fine, just change the oil and dry the plugs

You probably shorted your alarm. I was cleaning out my engine bay and got water in the wires of the alarm and it went off and kept going off until I unplugged the battery. I removed the fuse for a few days until it dried out and it worked for a while, but the siren is real quiet now and sounds like it's going to die.
