Default Tech help with Alarm please!

Got this POS alarm way back in '97 when a buddy of mine was just starting up shop and he cut me a great deal and being the electronics retard that I am (even today)

I got this unit called a Harada HSC900.

"Great!" Got a huge *** antenna that's extendable on the remote for added range. Got remote start for the chilly Canadian winters and turbo timer for cooldown. Loved it.....

Then one day I left the lights on, and the battery died. Got a jump but the alarm brain would no longer recognize the remote. Spent 3days calling their tech line at

1-800-442-7232 cuz buddy closed down shop and he couldn't remember the specifics of reprogramming the alarm.

Back on the road..... but just last week I had a PGM-FI tester hooked up to my car and something got reset and now the same deal. Brain won't recognize the remote.

Tried calling for help again (it's a FUkn CHAT LINE?), tried local distributors. Tried the internet. Nobody on earth seems to know what I have installed in my car!!!

Can ANYBODY or does ANYBODY know how to work this POS Harada HCS900 in my car!??

Lesson learned, if I have to buck up for a new unit...it's gonna be mainstream.... if that's the case... can anyone make a recommendation as to what is good with these same basic features?

Remote start and turbo timer in one unit?

Thanks!

Cliff notes:
-Got Harada HCS900 installed
-Battery dies and alarm brain won't recognize remote commands
-Nobody on earth seems to know how to fix
-Need help asap!
-If I have to buy new unit, what is good that has remote start/turbo timer all in one?

Its usually some combination of turning on ignition certain amount of times, listenning for a chirp, and then pressing buttons on the remote.

What you might try to do is look at the brain if you can reach it and see if it has company info on their. If not, try the BBB or something along those lines.

For a new alarm, look at a clifford. http://WWW.CLIFFORD.COM

she's in canada. no bbb

your best bet is to just get a newer alarm. dei's are uniform in there programming methods, so any dei installer can help you out when you have a problem.
