How many horsepower is my engine?
All the manual stuff I have confuses the hell out of me! Do I have a V-Tec and if I do which HP do I have? They list one at 106 and one at 115. I don't have an EX so I know mine isn't the 127 HP engine. Anyone know? See sig.

HX has 115. LX, DX, CX from 96-00 all use the D16Y7 motor which makes 106 at the crank, flywheel whatever.

I did a brief google search and found the 98 Civic LX is a Non Vtec motor pushing about 106 HP (they didn't say if that was rated at the crank or wheels but I'd assume crank).

Sorry, I didn't know that the LX, DX, and CX's during 96-00 all had the same motors. It's different for the 92-95 Civics since the LX has more power than the DX and I thought it would be similar.
