word.....What are your mods and which ecu did you need a chip for? PM me for more info if you want.....
if your engine is pretty much stock....dont bother chipping your ecu...go get some bolt ons, such as intake manifold, header, clutch, cams, fuel system, and then run a custom chip ecu ..........

If you're talking about those $2-$10 'chips' they have on ebay all over the place they are just a simple resistor. I'm not sure, but they send you instructions on how to clip it into your ECU and i dont know. I wouldn't waste $2 on a $0.10 resistor.

i had one of the cheap 10$ ebay ones on my old car
. u can feel a small difference but all they are is a resistor that keeps ur check engine light from going on. if u really want one buy a resistor from radio shack for 10 cents.

thanks.... in my vouch thread, the guy who dynoed my 94 gsr posted my dyno chart. At the time, I had aem sri, skunk2 IM, ctr intake cam, dc 4-2-1, greddy sp cat back, and my custom all motor program chipped p28 ecu. We dynoed the stock ecu back to back with my chipped p28. My motor gained about 7whp and 10lb's of torque with no tuning. Every car runs differently and reacts to modifications differently as well. For some people, these chips make a difference, and for others, it actually hurts their performance.
You need a resistor, rom, jumper, and the eprom chip (and capacitors, but are optional) to "chip" an ecu. Just avoid the chips they sell on ebay..save your self some money and time. Also, many people ask questions about the ebay chips here on h-t, so I recommend/reminding you to check out the search function next time
