steps to installing a turbo on a lude
ok, so in my last thread i spelled turbo wrong, that was a typo, obviously i can spell turbo...and i understand there will b a lot of work and a lot of complicated stuff to install a kit, and tuning it and everything, but that's y this site is here...for help, for information....i'm asking someone to help me by telling me how to install a turbo kit, how to tune it....i've tried searching and maybe i'm not searching the right stuff or using the right key words when i search, but i need help....i need to kno everything there is about a turbo kit so if there's anyone out there that is willing to take the time to explain it to me that'd b great, i mean i don't even have a kit yet, i don't wanna buy anything untill i kno what i'm doing and what i need, this is my everyday driving car so i was thinking about dropping a new engine in the car, well not brand new but fairly new, i have an H23, and i was thinkin about droppin an H22 w/ like 25-30,000 miles on it cuz my car has 160,000 miles on it right now and i don't want anything to go wrong, plus by swapping engines i'll already have added like 40 hp....but if someone could help me out that'd b great! thanks

I understand this is not exactly what you're looking for but I know I didn't just get everything spoon-fed to me. You have to research and get different opinions and ideas...on your own. Many people have written entire books on what you're asking; a good one to read is "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell.
Not only will you need to know how to install it, but understand how the different components work together, what can go wrong, and you'll need experience working on cars...
Cliffs: Research
