Default Fuel Sump Fabrication

ok .. i need to either
1) run a fuel cell im my mk2 gti and run s.s lines with a inline pump

2) the mk2s come with a PLastic tank . i can make a metal sump with a flange around it and run bolts threw the tank and the sump but i still would need a gasoline resistant sealer between the two .. im shure with a good sealer it whont leak

p.s correct me if im wrong . but the tank has very little pressure right? isnt the fuel pressrure after the inline pump?

reason i dont whant to do #1 is bc its way to much to properly instal a cell .. (legal cell, firewall, yada yead ) + sumping my stock tank will let me use the stock meter and gas cap . grounds and return line ..

anyone know of a good sealer that i will work ?

drilling holes in a plastic tank and trying to seal them doesn't seem safe
in the event of an accident, that would probably be the first place the fuel would leak from.
why not consider a external sump / fuel surge tank.

i was thinking that aswell .. but . . my stock pumps are wack and garbage .. i dont know if they could possibly keep the surge tank filled from the demand of the walbro 255 ..

i would prob need two 255s but thats not what i would like to do ..

anyone got good reviews on these .. fuel cell bulkhead fittings ...

i see plenty plastic fuel cells ..(jaz,jegs,summit ext ) that come with fittings like these and i dont think they leak ? .. mines the same thing but a diff shape .. im pritty shure one of these would seal . it maynot be sumped but i can put it in the lowest part of the tank
