i have an 00 gsr, and i keep having to buy new bulbs for my car cause the left side keeps going out. Is it my car thats causing the bulbs to go out, or is it cause the bulbs. Someone help me out cause i'm tired of spending 30 bucks a month to get new bulbs......

 

have you replaced your fuse lately or soemthing or are you touching your bulb when installing cuas eif you are your getting oil and residue all over your bulb that you dont need on there.

 

i'll try replacing the fuse, i'm not touching the bulb so must be the fuse?

 

Do you have OEM bulbs in it? In my previous Integra, my left bulb constantly burned out when I had aftermarket bulbs in it, but when I put the OEM bulbs back in, they never burnt out again.

 

mine does the same thing with my 92' i have hid projectors and the left one goes out but it'll come back on after i turn the lights off then on. but after the bulbs adjust it just shots off again. im thinkin the wattage is off or something like that but i dont really know much about electrics.

 

if the problem persists, rewire it by using a new harness with relays. so that the bulbs draw power directly from the battery and uses the original harness as a switch.

maybe there's a problem with the light housing. moisture?

 

check the connector that goes iinto the bulb for corosion or melting. moisture?

 

You could get a multi meter and check the voltage on both side to see if the left is pulling for current. If so check you wires, fuses....etc

 

Friend has the same problem, I'm curious as to what it could be also.

 

is there any condensation in the light or moisture at all. My car had a very small crack it the lens and i drilled a small hole in the bottom of it to get the moisture out. Have not had to buy another bulb in about a year

Silverstar's are the closest you'll get to a non-hid. But they don't last long either.
