i got a noise violation for my exhaust (apexi n1). i put the silencer on and went up to dmv to have it checked off. problem is it didnt pass even with silencer. I dont have my stock exhaust. What should i do? do they sell better silencers?

 

just look for someone selling a stock exhaust u can get one for like 50 and then just sell if u dont need it

Amazing that people still buy these N1 style mufflers and then bitch about how they get tickets.
Go to a muffler shop, have them whack off your N1, have them weld a flange onto the existing exhaust piping, the new stock style muffler you're going to buy while there and another flange onto your N1. That way you can swap out your mufflers whenever the hell you want to. Flanges are your friends.
