gas mileage

Default gas mileage

i was wondering what rpms to shift at to get optimal gas mileage...i have a 92 si with the d16z6, but i dont have the owners manual to it so any help is appreciated

LEARN TO DRIVE YOUR CAR AT THE RPM IN EACH GEAR THAT DOSENT MAKE YOUR ENGINE BOG-- I CAN GET 20-25 IN MY GSR SHIFTING AT 3K-3.5K+-

yea that sounds logical, i usually shift at 3k, but i was wondering what the honda owners manual said for that car

I shift at or just below 3k, just enough to catch the next gear at 2k.

do u want normal acceleration or max cuz i have the manual in fron of me?

edit- nvm i see u want the most gas so
1st-2nd 15 mph
2nd-3rd 27 mph
3rd-4th 39 mph
4th-5th 53 mph

Oh man with the dx tranny, 5th at 53mph is so slow. I usually shift at 60mph with this long tranny.

ya i knoe what you mean, u got a dx on a z6 too? i hate it, luckly its going out so i can get a y8 one soon.
