RE: stock map over 11psi...
ive ran over the stock map already. I never had any probs with it that i saw. Some say it will throw a cel or kinda like shut the car down or go in limp mode. but i have surpassed it already in my R
It's kinda a hit and miss. I know one guy running 13PSI on stock map cosntnatly. and that is a OBD0 map sensor as well which reads even lower then OBD1+. I'm running OBD1 map and saw about 11.8PSI constantly without problems. but as soon as I hit 123 PSI then the car would go into limp mode.

thats what im thinking too.Cuz i know with Hondata, you can use over a 3bar, but it will only use the fuel and timing tables of the last column , 29psi i think it is. ?
I didnt have a wideband on my car when i had the stock Map in it though. only put it in once i already had the 3bar in it. so i cant say what my A/f was like.

If your running a hack then when you get to the end of the map sensors voltage and IF you still arent sending enough voltage to the ecu to see 1psi then you can boost up to 1000psi and never have a fuel cut.. If your running a check valve and fmu then the 10.8psi limit of the stock map sensor doesnt apply to you but I wouldnt do that for other reasons..
But 93turbo16 is right, on a tunable system when you reach the 10.8psi limit of the map sensor the ecu isnt going to see above that boost level and youll be running on the last load line in your program.. Basically its just going to keep leaning out until you blow something..

thx guys. Also..did a gm 3bar "fix" this issue or did it continue. I'm asking b/c i'm not sure my .7 EBC/boost gauge reading is equal to the MAP 10.5psi I was tuned at. I plan a trip back to the dyno anyway, but I want to make the 6hr round trip worth it.

You were probably tuned at the higher boost while your map sensor thought it was still 11psi. The downside is that if you actually lower the boost to run 11psi actual you will run pig rich as hell. And if you go over what you were tuned you will lean out like a ****.
Not good.
