Default Running nitrous on H22 Euro Accord TypeR?

I know that on a well tuned jdm h22a, its stock internals can handle a 100 shot of direct port nitrous. Is this the same for the H22 euro accord typeR motor?? or is it different because of the higher compression? Can this motor handle such a high shot like the jdm h22a?

chances are that it can handle the direct 100 shot, but i dont know, i think i'd do a little more work to it before i started pumping the veins..

I'm trying to keep the internals stock. Just wondering how big of a shot this motor can handle compared to the jdm h22a.

I dont know how much it could actually handle but if it were my motor I wouldn't spray more than a 75.

OK let me get this straight, you not only want to spray nitrous, but on a rare euro accord type r motor holy ****.

I've been preparing to do a jdm h22a swap for a while now, with original plans to run a 75-100 dp nitrous on stock internals....the motor being well tuned of course. But now i'm thinking about doing the h22 euro motor, might as well make it worth while if i'm spending all that time and trouble for the swap. Just wondering what my options were with this motor if I do decide to go with it. I couldn't really find anyone running nitrous like they do on the jdm h22a when i searched the forums.

if youre going to spend money on a good motor why do you wanna cheapout and leave it stock. just cause you can squeeze a 100shot, doesnt mean you should. if you just want to halfass it, squeeze the **** out of the motor you have now.

i don't think the JDM H22A handles nitrous as well as you think it does.. the original owner of my car went through two of them by spraying nitrous. don't go and spend 5K on a euro R motor and then blow it up right away but if you do.. i'll take the throttle body hehe

I've been planning kind of the same thing. I have a 93 JDM H22A swap. I'm planning on running the Accord Euro R H22 single runner intake manifold with a wet-shot fogger 100 shot system. I think you'll be safe, but a safer idea is to have your piston heads machined to lower your compression before running the Nitrous. 10.6:1 is OK, but lower is better. And please, have it done PROFESSIONALLY.
