Spoon Cams - Do i need their valve springs?
Hey People,
I have a 97 JDM ITR, been offered a swap on my stock cams for Spoon ones for €250. His car is being sold, and the new owner wont notice the difference, so he has offered the cams to me.
I Know they arent the best cam by far offering little gains, but Toda Spec B's will have to wait till the summer so they are a stop gap solution while its cheap.
ANYWHOO.... do i need spoon valve springs or will my stock ITR ones be ok? i dont want ( well my mechanic doesnt- he works for free ) to take off two heads to swap springs and i dont want to have to buy two new head gaskets and 2 sets of valve stem oil seals, so will i be ok with my stock ITR springs?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Looks like the stock springs are fine until 8,800rpm anyway, and the cam wont make much power past 8400 anyway.
Just have to throw it all in and send it back to the dyno so.
