Default power steering stress

If I remove the power steering, will this put more stress on the steering components?

Internally or Externally?

Are biceps and froearms to be considered "steering components"!?
It would seem the "wear and tear" would be limited to the steering rack itself (internally), depending on how much fluid/lubricant remains. ed

No P/S is EASY with S-03's in 195-50-15.. feels almost like it used to with 205-50-15's and P/S.

I just took my powersteering belt off this weekend also...I was wondering do you guys notice any play in the steering since you've taken the belt off? Im still working out the bugs from my wreck and wondering if my rack and pinion got tweeked when the right side of the car smacked the curb...keep in mind it broke the front wheel

Since you guys brought the topic up again. Is anyone using a form of over flow resivour or a catchcan with both hoses running to it to allow the fluid to flow?

I just connected the ends of the hoses where the pump used to be and use the stock reservoir. Seems to woek pretty well for the past few weeks, much better than pushing fluid through a non-moving pump.
