I have a EK hatch and Mugen EK9 catback.
Today i installed a used ITR swaybar. Everything bolted up ok and checked everything.The car was on a lift and 4 wheels touching lift when install was done.
The twinloop wa not hitting the bar. Even when i go over speed bumps no sound.
There are parts of the road where it suddenly drops lower (ie paved new surface) This is when i hear a squeek.
There is no sound when the car is on a forward/back motion, even up/down motion like going over speed bumps there is no sound. It's when this going up down motion when driving i hear the sound.

Is there anything i did wrong when doing install? Are there any special details i should look at?

 

sounds like you didnt grease the endlinks or the bushings. same thing on my hatch after a front sway install.

 

This is the rear, does the same apply?
I would think the components are different.

Yes. You need to lube your endlinks and bushings, especially if they're poly. Use Marine Grease, it'll last longer.

 

Lubed everything.still the noise occurs.......wht gives?
