Default allright what gives??? cx already wired for vtec.

Ok so as the title states my buddy just got a GSR engine for his cx hatchie. So i go to wire the vtec. And to my utter dismay its already there.......from the factory!!!!! What the hell? I thought only vx, si were factory vtec equipped hatches?????? Oh yea by the way. I miss my hatch and all you guys!!!! find me a clean hatch to trade for my GSR!!!! Ill sell her real cheap!

i believe 92-93 were prewired for vtec. my buddy has a 92 hatch and has 2 map sensor plugs

ya the cx and dx motors had a vacum Map sensor not a TB mounted.

if ur gonna run a skunk manifold or something similar without the IAB i would get a Skunk programed P28.. hit up Kenji on HT he has some good ****. but if you are not gonna run a different manifold go with the GSR ecu cause of the IAB

All 1992 Civics come with VTEC wiring from the factory, regardless of trim level.

Early Canadian built HB's 92 and some 93 had VTEC wired already, so basically you just got lucky lol.
