OK i jus put a D15b7 block with a D16z6 head into my CX hatch well i got to looking an i noticed it dosent have a map sensor anywhere on the firewall nor on the TB an everytime i start my car it dosent want to stay running an it back fires an dies. But ive put 6 motors in this car an i never had a Map sensor this whole time an there is not a clip for it on my wire harness.

all 6 of your motors must of ran like ****

Well i think all motor have them (d/b/h/f series), my dx hatch (d15b7) had the map on the firewall, i swapped in a z6 (if its a real z6 t/b it will have a map on it) and it had one on the t/b, but i had to use the dx map connector instead of the motors own map connector.

Not all z6 have map sensor on TB. 92-93 b7 and z6 have map sensor on firewall 94-95 have it on TB. All CX have it on the Throttle body.

That's b/c you have a 92-93 Harness which had the map sensor on the firewall and the plug for the firewall map sensor is on the right side engine bay harness. You need to get a 94-95 TB and engine harness or wire it up manually.

I did a swap in my 92CX hatch and it had the plug in the harness and the map was on the TB

It will have a plug on the engine harness if its from 94-95 engine. Otherwise its on the cars engine bay harness. All cx engine harnesses have the map plug on the engine harness.

i got the exact same problem in my car..
but i have a b16a block.
like I will be driving in the freeway and all of a sudden my cars idle will drop and make my car jerk even if my foot is on the throttle.. and when i go to nuetral my car would shut off in the middle of the freeway... I have my map sensor plugged in too...
but I dont know why it still does that..

You can find the map sensor connector on the passenger side engine bay harness on 92-93 models and on the engine harness of 94-95 models. CX is the exception where the map sensor connector is on the engine harness no matter the year.

That's b/c you car had the map sensor on the TB which means the connector was on the engine harness. You must have got a 92-93 harness when you done the swap which wouldn't have the map sensor plug, You need a 94-95 Harness, or wire it up yourself.

yeah i ended up changing out my harness to one i found in my garage an now my car runs perfect.

Anyone know why my engine harness would have a one wire o2 sensor? My o2 sensor itself is a 4wire.
so what im asking is there anyway i could A.wire up the 4wire
B.use the 1wire

It only have one wire b/c its a CX d15b8 engine harness. You can find a harness to convert it to 4 wire harness at http://www.rywire.com
