how much tranny fluid do i need to put in my auto tranny IS FLUSHED SO theres none whatsoever how much does it take ????

 

if its a 96-00, i believe its 2.7 qt. i flushed out my brothers tranny this weekend with honda atf. just look in the back of ur owners manual if in doubt.

 

if i had 1 i wouldn't be asking but i belive is like around 2.7or something like that any1 else know a number for sure

If the entire system & converter is flushed it will be way more than 2.7 qrts won't it ?. Just a basic drain bolt pull in my 97 EX suckomatic dumps about 2.5 ?
Find a CAPACITY chart......add a little at a time until it's full !

 

untill the dip stick shows its full. (anywhere between the 2 holes on the tranny dipstick is good)

 

I think the tranny dipstick has hash marks....the oil dipstick has holes ..

 

jus put in about 2.5 quarts..it'll be more then enough.
