well im officially 19 as of seven minutes ago
tomorrow morning I will be receiving my xs-engineering turbo kit with fuel system

the kit is really nice and ive heard real solid things about it all the way around

last minute questions

the kit comes with 550cc injectors and new clips....alli have to do is solder correct?
also..its a 2001 with 40k on it....should i do a compression test anyways?
gauge wise im thinking about defi boost/vacuum, oil pressure, and an a/f ratio...maybe if i save up the aem uego

the kit comes with a base map on the apexi powerfc...so pretty much im assuming its plug and play but just needs a nice solid fine tune....but i know im goign to want to step on it the second the kits on....would i be alright

i'm assuming that the base map is pretty conservative so i'm sure you will be fine getting on it. Also don't waste money on a narrowband a/f gauge. Get a wideband if you have the extra money. Maybe get the aem wideband like you suggested.

 

get a wideband for sure, just to make sure. Or take it to get it dyno tuned. Always fun.

true....im also thinking of a cometic low compression head gasket for added safety and some ngk plugs
