just installed turbo kit, gotta few problems
well i finally got my turbo kit done and have been installing it the past few days. I pieced the kit together myself it consists of a spoolin quick 4 mani, garrett t4 60 trim, tial 38, hks bov, gm 3 bar, 3" dp. I just finished putting the kit on and was gonna start the car to check for leaks. I disconnected a section of the intercooler piping and put a filter on it just so i wouldnt be taking any chances. Well the car started but wouldnt stay running, to keep it running i have to play with the throttle a little by tapping it but it seems very sluggish and doesnt want to stay running. Ive checked all vaccume connections and wiring, could this be due to the 3 bar map?
And i also installed a electronic oil pressure gauge. The sensor is mounted on the back of the block on the same tee the turbo feed is on but for some reason im not picking up any oil pressure on the gauge. But i did have a leak where the filter mounts to the sandwich plate and the turbo feed and return lines are warm from when i had the car running so i think its just a sensor issue. But how could i check this to make sure?

no i havent got a basemap, i was just going to start the car before i went to get it tuned to make sure there wasnt no leaks.... just a p72 ecu
and the gauges are wired correctly, when i turn the ignition on the oil pressure gauge goes to 100 and just sits there even while the car is somewhat running

it isnt running correctly because the stock ecu calibration cant see/use the 3 bar. if you are trying to get it running put the stock map on it and drive it.
