go to a local junk yard and get a turn signal bulb with a little bit of wire on it. Then attach more wire to it

That is a bulb in the socket. I bet you can get them from a junk yard cheap. I would even guess that a non-honda one will work. Just take the light down with you and find something that works, or at least comes really close to working. If the tabs are a little big you can allways file them down just a little. Take some wire cutters. leave a good bit of wire so you can splice them in and away you go.

The bulbs that i used in mine are the same ones in the gauge cluster. I used 18 gauge wire and it is holding up fine.

do you need a plug or harness that plugs into the bulb harness? how would you splice wires from that? it's just a slab of metal

So you only got the sidemarker lenses with no bulb sockets?

If you got the sidemarkers new, they should have come w/ sockets.

If you do not have the harness plug, you can just use 1/4" female quick-disconnect terminals to plug into the male prongs on the bulb socket.

The bulbs themselves are only 5-watt wedge bulbs, so pretty much any old wire will be fine, unless it's like some hair-thin 28-ga. telephone wire or something (don't use that). Most all of the stock lighting uses 22-ga wire I believe.

what's the gauge on the "12V wire"?

wires aren't measured for voltage value.. they're measured for current. not that side markers will use much current... but i would recommend anything larger than 20gauge.

where did you get the female adapter? the harness plastic peice attached to the blue wires?

Also do you want the sidemarkers to be on when your corners are on? or do you want the markers to blink only when you signal? thanks

They're not really meant to be like that, I had a set of clear ones that faded and yellowed because I had them like that, but whatever.

Hook up the two sidemarker wires to the two 1157 bulb's power wires, and it should function as described. The ground will come through the 1157 bulb itself.
