Default STEERING WHEEL JERKS HARD LEFT!!!

Does any one know what this could be. I am on the freeway and randomly it will RANDOMLY twitch to the left. I check to see if my ball joint where loose or anything like that but everything is tight. could it be my wheel bearing? does it go out like that? I though it would be more suttle Any help would be great.

I got under the car this morning and checked to make sure averything was snug and put the wheels back on. no problems today. I wonder if it was that the wheels didnt get properly torqued at les schwab. That was when it started doing it. I hope that is it. As for the axles there are no rips. What else could it be. DEF no tracking the road. It is a totally different feeling. My car will track ruts becuase our roads kinda suck, but this doesnt feel the same.

I was on standard steelies and everything seemed fine, iv now put some 15" with kumho 712's and sometimes it just pulls so much to the left, dunno what the problem is, the tracking and wheel balancing have been done. Will post when i find out more.

was driving to night and it still did it. Then it jerked one time and I heard something fly out the back!!! I will check in the morning but I am thinking something must have gotten stuck in the rotor or somewhere...Dunno we will see.

Pulling to one direction or another when the car should be tracking straight is usually an alignment issue, specifically caster. Caster is not adjustable on Civic/Integras. It could be that you have a bent control arm. If it pulls to the left, and it's a caster issue, that would imply that the left wheel is further back than the right, and that the bent parts on on the left side of the car.

It could also be a toe issue, which is easy to fix by adjusting the tie rod ends. Get a front end alignment and tell them what the symptoms are. Couldn't hurt and the alignment will also reduce your tire wear if your toe is off significantly.

ok i think i figured it out. When I changed out my axle about 5 months ago I replaced it with a 90-93 integra axle and half shaft. Know that I think of it I think that it is shorted that 94 up. Is that true?

figured it out, I was using the wrong axle combo. 90-93 axles on the drivers side I dont know why I ever thought that would work.

It jerks seeminly out of no where right? my first thought was the Ball joint aswell but it ended up being the CV joints were bad, visially they looked ok but when you take them out they were barley holding together got mine from Napa Autoparts for 75 each for the entire drive shaft hope that helps ya!

I'd check tie rods first.

You'll probably also want have your car put on an alignment rack to have the settings checked.
