Default 99 gsr

I own a 99 gsr and it has about 88,000 miles on the odometer. I am planning to get a tune up for it next week, about how much does the standard tune-up cost plus labor?

It varies from where you go and what you have done. A tune up usually is a lot of fluid flushing. Sometimes you don't need something flushed, so price varies. I believe I was quoted 400-500 from my dealer. But all this can be done yourself.

yeah what he said, flushing your fluids . I usualy do my own tune ups as im a cheap *****, and it usualy includes cap and rotor, new spark plugs & wires, oil change, if needed timing belt, check my motor mounts, and a compresion test... another thing I keep in mind aswell is basicly anything thats a quick & and easy fix mechanicaly, if its not a quick and easy fix i'll take it to a dealer or a trust worthy shop around town.

smoke what???????

and to answer the original poster .... it all depends on what your planning on doing ... at 90K your car is due for timing belt water pump seals tensioner spark plugs distributor cap and rotor ... i would guess 5-700to get quality parts installed ... dont waste your time and money on non oem parts
