hey can someone tell me the size for the speakers in the doors on a 88-91? are they 4x4s or what, and does anyone have a good idea for a place for my 6x9s?

hatch, and is there any limit to the depth?

 

front speaker 6.5 inch
rear speakers 6.5 inch

 

i thought the rears were 5.25..but most hatches didnt have rears anyways.

mounting depth in the front is about 2.3 inches, if you take out the factory basket. if not, youve got about two inches, and the speakers are 5.25 inches in diameter

You are right about depth, but there are 6.5" speakers that will mount in the front without mods, Clarion, kenwood, Eclipse to name a few, and a lot more by just cutting out the back of the OEM speaker mounting bracket, [for magnet] 94

 

I was told that most hondas...90-93 and below that run the same....

Which are 6.5's.

I'm not really sure on hatchbacks, I might be wrong. If you figure it out, post it up, im curious as to what they are.
