2 problems left with my Z6 swap
Like the title says, I have 2 problems left. One is my Fast Idle Thermo Valve (FITV), it has two female connectors coming out of it and I have no idea where they go on my STD wiring harness. (do I even need the FITV?) It will be an Obd-0 D16Z6 swap. The other problem is my heater hoses, one specifically. The hose comes off the fat hose that comes from the water pump to the thermostat housing. The skinny hose that I'm having my problem with is coming off the fat house very close to the water pump. Where do I put the other end of that hose?
Heres a pic of the FITV, its the thing coming off the intake manifold, and its right in the middle of this picture:

Here is the pic of the nozzle I am having troubling where to put, its number 16:

I think number 16 goes to the nipple on the IACV thats closest to the driver side. If u think u already have the IACV hoses connected properly, then u can just slap a 2 inch length of coolant hose on the nipple and put a bolt in the other end to plug it. I actually did a D15b swap a long time ago and got that nipple brazed shut.
About your other problem....i never knew what that sensor did or what its technical name was. Is it truely a FITV? My guess is u can probably leave it unplugged, or get a D16Z6 intake manifold for a cleaner look.

The first problem, is not the Fast Idle Thermal Valve, or FITV that is the part that is underneath the throttle body at the end of the manifold. What you are looking at is the Purge Control Soldenoid.... Just leave it unplugged. We don't have anything to plug into that. Doesn't affect drivablity... I think it's for emissions.
Second problem, either use the other pipe that was off of your orginal engine without the nipple, or simply plug that one up... (i.e. jb weld, hose and screw with clamp, etc etc)
Good Luck to you

Thanks, that was much needed, and I remember reading I could leave it unplugged, but I just wanted to make sure.
I just read that the number 16 plug is for an oil heater? I guess I will plug it up, unless if anyone knows otherwise.
