I purchase the intercooler thinking that it would be crappy but it is so beautiful...lemme know what ya think..ill get more pics with the bumper on after i cut it...

I have a rev hard kit, and I was wondering if this intercooler is a direct fit? I just want to purchase one and then I have to buy new pipping. How much was it and how much hp can it handle???

are you talking to me about the jrc 8 inch or about the revhard? mine is a perfect fit the bottom of the ic stops alittle bit above the bumper..PERFECT!! even though i had to cut the grills out....

Ya im interested in your intercooler, I'm just asking if anyone know if it's the same length as the rev hard one so I can replace mine.

yeah i have seen plenty of these posts, but no one has there bumber on. The intercooler is sexy by itself, but put the bumber on then take a step back and hold your weiner cause your gonna splurge

man.. i must of done something wrong.. i had to trim alot to get my 6" jrc i/c to fit..

anywayl... the mounting looks purdy..

The 8" fit my em1's bumper perfectly, without the bumper support anyways. I had to get rid of the support to fit it with my foglights. Overall, they're great intercoolers. I ordered one and got it in three days

Looks good....I was able to retain my bumper support by mounting it further back since I removed AC. My hatch is not my daily driver, but I do beat the streets with it for fun, and the thought of someone pulling out in front of me with no bumper support is scary.

 

My problem was that I needed it high enough to clear the fogs but far up front enough to clear a/c lines and some pusher fans. My only option to have both was to remove the bumper support. Either way, everything fitted great.

 

i vote that you paint it black for concealment.

 

IS IT ME OR IS YOU IC UPSIDE DOWN? I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE ANGLED PART OF THE IC IS SUPPOSED TO GO UP? OR AM I TOTALLY WRONG. AND ONE MORE THING IM NOT FLAMING YOU BUT THIS PIC WITH YOU BUMPER ON..WHEN YOU LOO AT IT WITH THE BUMPER ON DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE IC PIPING WILL FITAROUND THE FOGLIGHTS?

 

I just got that one before xmas. It comes packaged so nice in a custom foam thing. Any pics of how you mounted it on the bumper support. Cant wait to see pics with the bumper on. Im gonna be putting mine on a 95 hatch.
