where to get Hayabusa velocity stacks and filters for homemade ITBs?
I am building a set of ITBs for an H22A using Hyabusa throttle bodies. I am looking for some inexpensive velocity stacks, and filters that have firewall clearance in mind (considering the clearance could be as small as 2 inches). Everyone says EBAY right? well the the Dellorto/Weber velocity stacks inside diameter is around 1.8" (too small!). The hyabusa ID is 50 MM (almost 2"). The outside diameter is around 53 MM and the upraised lip a few MMs back is about 54.5 MM or so from my estimations. So anyone know of any cheap equal length velocity stacks (please no hayabusa crappy unequal plastic crappy things) ? Looking for a length of around 2.5" and 3". Thanks.

The OEM Hayabusa velocity stacks are: made of rubber; about 2 inches long; are available for a reasonable price from any Suzuki dealer; and are completely separate from each other meaning that by ordering 4 of the same part number, you'll end up with 4 equal length velocity stacks.
When experimenting with the GSXR 1000 ITB setup, we found the OEM stacks helped the car's overall drivability as compared to the cheap Weber/Dellorto ebay stacks. If you really want some nice stacks, find a place that sells them for Weber IDF 48 carbs and then TIG weld them to the throttle bodies.

thanks for the reply and the info. Also is there velocity stacks different lengths like 2.5" and 1.5" ones that can also be had for cheap (besides the 2" ones) so I can experiment the diferent lengths on the dyno? Also any ideas for filters for my issue with firewall clearance ( I know u dont like to run filters but bad luck always gets me so I figured I might as well be safe).
thanks.
thanks.
any help on filters? I assume the GSXR 1000 velocity stacks are of a similar design and price at a suzuki dealer

i get all my suspension stuff there ..they a re a real racing store that dont do much with street cars and more on the lines of formula and vintage stuff but they sell pipercross witch is one of the bigger companies in the UK that make awsome filters for about 40bucks a pair (you would need 2 )
as far as the velocity stacks go i would call TWM as they make them wide enough for there 50mm
