.63 isn't trim, it's the A/R ratio of the housing to wheel. Did you mean 60-trim vs. 50-trim?
a 57 trim is slightly bigger, where as the SC50 is a 50 trim, its up to you which turbo you want to choose. they are built practically the same.
The SC34 has a 57 trim wheel (56mm diameter, 2.320" inducer/2.950" exducer) on the compressor side and either a 69 or 76 trim wheel on the turbine side, so there are actually two different versions of the 57 trim.
Also, don't get too hung up on buying a turbo based on the trim size. Compressor trim is a mathematical calculation, which is Inducer Diameter squared divided by Exducer squared X 100. The point is, there's more than one different way to go thru this equation to come up with a 57 trim. Example: 3+3 = 6, 4+2=6, 5+1=6, etc. You can also have different sized wheels with the same trim.
Hope that sheds some light.
