Default Air Filters....?

I run K&N filters in both my Honda's and now I am reading they might not be the best choice. So I started some research and was reading about WIX fitlers...Any ideas on these filters? Or any recommendations?

Thanks!

I found it on http://www.bobistheoilguy.com . I got hooked on filters from Honda-Tech and started using Filtech OEM filters. Then I decided I would look into air filters. On http://www.bobistheoilguy.com they were talking about K&N not totally filtering the air. So I started reading the forum the most recommended filters were OEM, WIX, and Pureolator. So, I looked up WIX online http://www.wixfilters.com . I have seen where people on Honda Tech use WIX oil filters. So I thought that I would try. My car runs smoother and stronger with the WIX filter. They are not reusable, so after X miles you have to replace it. Mine was around 15 bucks.

Hope this helps!

Replaced the K&N with Wix in my CR-V and had the same results. It runs smooth and stronger with the Wix brand than with the K&N. I am going to track mpg stats and post later....

Apex'i filter .. good power and good filtration. it's dry and doesn't need to be oiled and cleaned.

outperformed the k&n, hks, and blitze in both HP and filtering properties.
