security: welding hood cable blocker

anti-theft: welding hood cable access
can someone explain or link me to an article on how to use a welding machine to block the hood cable. I REALLY want to do this so no one can get into my hood. any help will be greatly appreciated.

It is easier to pop the hood from the front then through the fender, and to awnser your question.
1. Take your front bumper off.
2. You will see the hood pop assembley
3. Look on the bottom of it, and you will see a long opening.
4. Use any means to weld a plate over it.
Keep the temperature low on the welder, because the metal is thin and will burn through easy if it is too hot.
