So my swap this morning from H Motors Online . It's a 2nd generation OBD1 b16...

The motor is extremely clean and in excellent condition. Nothing broken or missing. I'd recommend buying a swap from these guys to anyone. Customer service is excellent and service is super fast.

im looking to order a b16 from them soon. How long did it take you to get it and did they have one when you ordered or do you have to wait till they get one in?

It took me a little longer cause my bank would only let them take out $500 a day. But normally it takes 7-8 business days from the day after you order your swap.

can two people pick up the motor? odd question i know but i never had to pick one up before.

Got my JDM B16A swap from Hmotors too. Mine was clean as hell, just like yours. Definate thumbs up for Hmotors. I wish my valve cover would have been that clean though....mine was all scratched up, which means the only logical thing to do was get a JDM CTR one. Also, check your cam seals....one of mine started leaking about a month after I had the swap, so I replaced it with a STR unit...hasn't leaked a drop since. Post pics after you get it installed please.

Thanks for the heads up. I opened it up yesterday and everything seems to be in good shape. I'll post plenty of pics don't worry.

 

Ah, the infamous b series cam seal leak. It can happen even if that cam seal looks fine. I have the STR one as well, since my stocker started leaking. STR

 

What did you pay for the swap? Get us some pics of it running. That looks showroom!

lsd? i paid 2200 locally for mine, not nearly as clean as that an non-lsd ilke im assuming yours is. thats one of the cleanest swaps iver ever seen. whats it going into??

thats tight and im glad hmotorsonline has great service, ive been looking at them for the longest...

you have the same plans as i do. I want a eg sedan to drop a b16a or b18c in if i get lucky....

 

were your axle splines rusted at all? when i got mine my motor was clean as hell but the axle splines were so crappy they barley wanted to fit into the hub.
