no vtec 96gsr

Default no vtec 96gsr
so i blew my head gasket and went through that whole thing, i had excesive warping.it ended up costing 1100 which isnt bad.the car is running nice and smooth but vtec isnt egaging. what else could have broke that would make me lose vtec.

Is the solenoid hooked up? What's your oil level? Are you getting any codes?
