Default Trying to wire up power locks to unlock passenger side while inside car. How do I do this?

I have power locks with my alarm. They only lock when i arm and disarm the alarm. I wanted to put a switch in the car so I can unlock the passenger door while the car is still running. Im annoyed whenever I cut off the car and both doors unlock. Or when I need to let in my friends in , I still have to reach over to unlock the door. How can I accomplish this? TIA.

Check out this link.

Your doing this with actuators right? Your gonna need Relays for that.

Now if you wired your alarm to the IGN, you should be able to "ARM/DISARM" without triggering your alarm so basically "LOCK/UNLOCK"

Hope that helped.

all you need is a double momentary switch. there should be three prongs. connect the center to ground , one to lock ,and one to unlock wires coming from the alarm. most alarms the lock/unlock wires are blue and green
