Default ok not a honda, but need identification of Infinity speakers

Ive searched online but I have not found anything useful for my question.

My brother has a 2003 dodge ram 2500 srt with the high end Infinity system in it. Singele CD with cassett head unit.

right now he is replacing the head with a alpine 9820xm... and soon interested in new speakers if needed, if not a sub...

The question at hand is what speakers are used in this vehicle from infinity, we need to compare the power and clarity of them to aftermarket speakers. Also, any help with identifying the amp would help as well.

they use cheap speakers. lol. Infinity does lots of OEM work for other companies and the ones he has now are not the same woofer as the aftermarket.. I don't know if you can find specs on the stock speakers unless you call Infinity.

Have you tried using Crutchfield.com or Etronics.com to find what speakers fit the vehicle? etronics.com carries a decent amount of Infinity speakers.

well we know what fits... the problem is, we do not know the specs of the speakers. So we have no idea where our minimum of clarity, power, and range should be to be an improvement. I guess ill try calling Infinity like was suggested. Thank you.

why not listen to his truck and then listen to the infinity reference to get a reference for how the stock system compares. its a starting point. just out of curiousity...are you limiting yourself to only infinity products for this install?
