Well, I originally planned to turbo my '01 GSR so I bought an Action 2MD clutch for it. Since then I have decided to purchase a shell and build a motor to put in it and turbo....so my '01 can stay untouched.

I plan to build an LS/Vtec for it. It is my understanding that I can still utilize the GSR 2MD I bought so long as I run a GSR flywheel and GSR tranny.....correct?

But it can't be used with an LS trans?

Nor a B16 tranny?

Will any GSR trans work ? Regardless of year, or USDM or JDM ????

Seriously? Regardless of flywheel? Or whether its LS/GSR/ITR/B16 trans, so long as its hydraulic and Bseries huh..... that is good news.

I swear somebody told me it would only work with a GSR flywheel and GSR trans

 

Just make sure you use the same flywheel.I know the ls fly has less pressure plate bolts then a b16 fly.

 

Alright, well since I was under the impression it would only work with a GSR trans and GSR flywheel I have already bought a GSR flywheel.....so thats no problem.

But I need to be certian as to what transmition(s) the clutch is compatible with.....because the much cheaper option of an LS trans might end up being what I want to do.... ??? ...

Just lookin for a 2nd person to back up the statement that it would work with any Bseries hydro tranny....before I go shopping
