Default tranny conversion on 5th gen obd2

I have searched....everything tells me how to wire an obd1 5th gen....I am doing an auto to manual conversion using parts from a 95 (obd1) car to my 96 (obd2). I am still a little confused about a few things, mainly the wiring. the clutch pedal has 2 sensors on it, i know one of them allows the car to start when the clutch is engaged, but what does the other one do...do i wire the sensor to where the auto shifter should be or do i wire the tranny to be in park and then wire the sensor in?.. help... next the clutch pedal bracket is bolted to the car with 3 bolts, 2 on the clutch master cylinder, and 1 at the top of the bracket, my auto car does not have that bracket, do i need to cut it out and put it on my car? the clutch master cylinder has spacers welded to the car on the firewall, do i need to copy the spacers on my car.. and everyone says i just have to take out the plate blocking the holes for the cylinder, but it looks to me like i need to drill out the holes because on my car it looks like there is a template on just one of the plates... i know im not good at explaining this but if you can help please do
