auto to manaul conversion
i have a 90 lx and its an auto and i was going to throw in a jdm h22. but i want it to be a manual.I heard it is a pain in the *** to convert and wondering if i should just sell it and by a manual then do the swap. any input would be great
it's easy to convert once the motor is out...all you need are:
-clutch pedal and mounting bracket...
-brake pedal and mounting bracket...
-all hydraulic lines for the clutch (both from the pedal to the master cylinder and from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder)
-master and slave cylinders and mounting bracker for the m/c
-shifter and shift cables from a m/t accord
-5 speed ecu (which you should get with your swap)
since this is in a 4th gen, you may have to weld on a tranny mount...i know 5th gens you don't, but 4th gens are a little different...regardless, it's nothing that can't be done...everything except for the mount that needs welded bolts right in...

here ya go, full how-to...although, i think they stuck with an auto ecu and somehow got it to work with the 5 speed...if i were you, i'd just swap to a 5 speed ecu as it's easier...
