Default All motor 95 mm stroke Question

I am planning to build a motor that i built on a honda engine building program i bought.

the motor has a 95mm stroke and a 85 mm bore.

My ? is do i have to have the block notched if going with custom pistons to run a 95mm stroke.

It just depends on the block and the sleeves. I have had some 95mm's that hit the block and I have had some 99mm's that don't. The only way to find out is to put the engine together and physically check it.

do i have to use a deck plate or stock b18 deck height is good with custom pistons and ls rods.

we run the stock deck with all of these motors. deckplates are more trouble than they are worth especially if it is going to be driven on the street. If you need a custom piston for that application let me know.
