Default d15b valve cover gasket

anyone know what gasket to use. I bought the z6 gasket and it didn't work. I am guessing i should try the VX, but i really don't know. Any info on this would help.

oo by the way in case your wondering the z6 was jus a little toooo long.

Yeah I thought z6 would work too... we really need to get a list going of part #s that are interchangeable for the d15b since there is so little info on them.

I guess take the gasket into the dealership or autozone and try to measure it against another one.

If you do find out which one it is, let us know too.

Good luck.

Did you buy aftermarket?

The Z6 gasket is the right one. I am 100% sure of that.

second gasket was an inch and a half too long. I just reused the old one with some RTV around those trouble spots. i am not sure what gasket to use, i will try another z6 gasket some time down the line, not for now though.

If you get an OEM D16Z6 gasket it will work, provided you are talking about a SOHC VTEC D15B. I guarantee it.
