POsted this on the Prelude forum as well since it may apply for both.

Here's the story. I bought my Girl's 1997 prelude sport shift. The problem is the trans, it's shot and needs a replacement. I wanted to know if I can use the transmission off a F series motor from honda accords in replacement for the H series in Prelude , and will it work correctly. Since I will be using it for daily driving I am not concerned if the Sport shift will work or not just as long as it shifts automatically I'll be fine.

yea....people use their F trannies alot when swapping in an H22 cause they cant afford the tranny

I know manual trannies but what about auto...
