Default My intro here to the EF world...

I've been watching this board and th efforum for months. Very helpful, I just bought my 3rd and hopefully most enjoyable civic, an 89 CRX w/ a blown d16a6 perfect body. It's somethimg I can build from the ground up. I use to own a 00' DX coupe with a D16y7, I Greddy turboed it with a JR intercooler, it was an auto so it was still slow, but took home over 20 trophies. (Got burnt out on the car shows) Sold that car bought a 96 Civic EX 5 speed, taught myself how to drive it, then turboed it, Greddy Everything, but the mileage was high and had problems so I sold it, bought an Acura truck and bought myself a CRX, my 3rd turbo SOHC.
Everything on this car will be brand new.
I have built many cars locally so hopefully my added two cent will be helpful

This is my first post and I registered almost a year ago ( I observe alot), anyway here is the plan for the car...
SOHC ZC turbo, headwork done by JG Engines, custom turbo by myself either a T20 or T3/T4. I already have the BBK 62 mm TB brand new left over from my last car I never installed and the Venom rail, hopefully I can make the rail work. The car came with a nitrouse kit I'll be selling dirt cheap, plus I already had a Zex kit from my old car I need to get rid of as well. Interesting enough the car came with the JDM ZC header 4-2-1 (1 piece) which will also be for sale one I get it running.
I called myself giving up the whole Honda scene when I sold my second one and bought my Acura SLX, but I went out and drove a stock 91 hatch, and I just had to get oe, I bought my CRX DIRT cheap, I guess it was just meant to be.

I have great vouch threads from...

I love them. I looked at so many options for the car, B16, DOHC ZC, B18B1...you just can't go wrong with the SOHC, you do them right and they'll do you right. My Turboed EX was spankin local Si, ludes and tegs (non GSR) all day long. To it I did...
Edelbrock IM, Greddy kit (92-95), Greddy type 31 FMIC, HKS BOV, custom 2.5 catback, Apexi N1, it would have been perfect if I could have gotten rid of the damn wheel hop and the piston rings weren't going bad.
So I know my CRX will be even more fun
My 00 DX was also using a 92-95 kit I modified the charge pipes to fit, but it was not even what I would call remotely fast, more like "peppy" with the auto tranny, my 96 seemed to be twice as fast, and it sure as hell wasn't do to VTEC, trannies make a world of difference.
