Hey,

Does anyone know what the tool is that Apexi advertises as a silencer tool?
I've never seen a silencer in person and don't know if I can just use a screw driver instead or what is required.

p.s. I searched extensively on all boards, other sites, and the internet in general.
I found nothing on this, except that it exists, and the price!

I have a silencer with my trm and i just keep a small 10mm socket & rachet in my car to take it on and off. Some people use wingnuts to get away from using a rachet. HTH.

 

Does that thing affect performance noticeably? I'm installing my N1 on wed.

yea i think it does affect performance your taking something thats releasing exaust preasure out of a 4 in hole and closing it to a 1/2 of and in hole.goes the same for the sound also...the silencer really changes the two tones....
