Hi guys, can anyone here tell me how good the battery checks that Schucks do are? I havent replaced my civic's battery since I bought the car used ~4 years ago. I'd also like to check my mom's Toyota Sienna's battery, which has big chunks of white and light green stuff growing on the battery. What information can I take away from this diagonsis they give me? Thank you

 

take it to auto zone or car quest or something they do them for practically free

 

The white/green chunky stuff on your Mom's battery is just acid ****. Take a wire brush and clean it off.

you can also pour soda on it, we did that at midas sometimes when were we bored. worked also

clean the corrosion off. you can neutralize the acid if youd like with baking soda and water. clean it with a wire brush then put vaseline over the terminals to prevent corrosion.
