Yeah I kno the ssautochrome welding is just about the worst on earth, but are their turbos alright?
They got some pretty cheap T3 turbos on ebay and i was wondering how these stack up to a high priced turbo?

I asked this question on another board.. here are the responses I got:
"ALOT of the nissan guys i know run ssautochrome stuff and according to them it works well. brace the turbo (not the manifold) and hte manifold should work fine. as for the turbos... they are old tech turbos.. no reason they SHOULDNT be cheap"
"look up master power turbos, that is who makes them it appears"
"I know the internals of them are Garrett for the SS turbo's at least thats what they told me. I would go with the master power stuff there cheaper in price than most major brands but they are damn good turbos"
"The Master Power turbos are made in Brazil, they mostly make turbos for trucks. I tried to contact them, but nobody there speaks english and they don't respond to e-mails. They are not ball bearing turbos, although SSAC advertises them as "wet floating ball bearing" turbos It's just a regular journal bearing turbo, made by some company in Brazil. Personally I'd avoid it because I don't think I'd get any support if it did screw up."
