Default ANTENNAE REPLACEMENT

power antennae is stuck. time for a new one. anyone replace this themselves? if anyone can help with a how to, it would be appreciated. thanks again.

once you take the plastic panels off you will see that a monkey could do it....

well, i guess i need to know how to remove the plastic panels then. how many bolts are there to remove? how many panels really need to come off? you know a basic how to. unfortunately i'm not a monkey, i'm a human!

the plastic is easy to remove

if you look where the "edge" of the trunk is, aka where the hatch closes down, you will see 4-8 clips, remove them all and then lift the carpet and remove the plastic. look to your left and there is another plastic covering, if you look near the rear seats, you will see a lil opening, there is a 10mm bolt in there, remove it. and then try to squeeze ur fingers between the plsatic and the car and rip out the plastic covering. its held on my clips.

try not to **** up your clips when removing plastic....I had to remove mine to disable my antenna(I like it down), and i broke a few clips

pretty much u need to remove the seats, then plastic, then antenna

you dont really have to remove the seat, just put the seat down. there are 2 bolts, one the panels and 1 plastic screw on the floor near the strut. you have to remove the rear panel first, by pushing in the centers of the round fasteners then pulling th whole round fastener out. just yank the side panel and it should pop out, it should give you enough room to get in there to unplug the ant. and and unscrew the nuts that hold it in.
