what do you guys recomend to build a good NA gsr???

 

I got this from one board:

Here's a low 13 second all motor build-up for your Integra:
-Get a 4 into 1 header
-JDM ITR oversized pistons
-CTR camshafts
-cam gears
-Skunk2 manifold
-Chipped ECU
-B&M fuel pressure regulator
-Bigger throttle body (match port with Skunk2 manifold)
-Clutch & lightweight flywheel

 

and if you want more than that, get an ITR trans with the JDM 4.785 FD, a bigger set of cams from Crower, Spoon, etc.. possibly a stand alone ECU setup like a Haltech or Hondata, a ported head, maybe oversize valves, and higher compression.

what about JUN cams? or toda cams... can I use those instead of the CTR cams???

 

Jun or Toda cams would be a great upgrade along with a port and polished head. Just remember that with the larger cams and higher revs you are going to need to upgrade the valve springs and retainers.

run the juns tehy are so much longer duration cam then the todas. and everything else has been said

 

Is it worth the $$$ to upgrade to larger cams??? I mean would the ctr/itr cams be 'enough' to run 190whp?? which is my goal right know..

ya know, you should just try some 'R' cams for now then upgrade later.
Just so that you can experience the differences later on. R cams are way more affordable than any of the other non-OEM cams out there....well unless your mr. moneybags and you can afford all that at once....

 

Suppose that was a JDM GSR engine with LSD tranny with that setup in a 92 DX hatch. What would that run in the 1\4? That is about the route i wanna go, except with JUN 3's and JUN valvetrain.
