Default Spoon cams or toda c's?

I have a 98 type r motor. I/H/E/vafc and have skunk 2 cam gears not installed. I am going all motor: thin head gasket, shaving the head, upgraded valve terain. I have a straight pipe to tanabe rm exhaust i am wondering what would be a better application with this setup and still be some-comfortable street driving while getting max performance. Toda B's or spoon cams??

thin head gasket + milled head = no toda Bs for you

Go with spoon cams if thats what you want. But you still need more mods
to get the most out of them. Ditch the tanabe as well

toda C with toda valves/springs should work well on your R dropping cams in a stock car wont make much of a difference like sgt said

Why he need to ditch Tanabe? Are you saying that with the specB, you will need at least 2.5" ID exhaust?

A matter of taste indeed...

The bottlenecks can be removed quite easily. Contact David Stadulis (aka SMSP) for more info.

Jason- who has a bottleneck free Tanabe

I said i was upping the valveterrain. Im getting portflow retainers and springs. Shaving the head 20 thousands and using a thinner head gasket. Im deciding toda b's or spoon cams. With this setup toda b's ive heard runs of high 12's on slicks....

why are you milling your head?...in my opinion don't mill the head and build compression through pistons...therefore you will not have to worry about valve to piston clearance...if you decide then I would clay your combustion chamber then decide on the cams...
