Default Motor build shops in New York/ New Jersey and...

Posting this for a friend of mine. Are there any good/ reputable honda build shops in the NY/Nj area? Any good experiences with customer service, knowledge of honda motors, and price.

if ur on long island, nrgtech is a great shop.

the owner, miller, is really good at what he does.

there have been some theft issues/debates from time to time, but from what i can understand its more of who hangs around there then who owns it.

MEDIUM RACING out in Long Island puts out some serious cars that are fast and reliable! The owners name is Dusty. Hit them up at http://www.mediumracing.com or give them a call at 1-631-253-4004
we have some of the fastest cars out on the streets right now, so u wont be dissappointed with the car when its done.

good luck with the build!

haha thats the spark to light quite the fire... medium is pretty new, yet they claim to own the streets already. dont think thats the case, but theres no use in arguing about it.

yea im not about to start another one of these bullshit shop fights out here. did i ever say medium owns the streets???? i think not. i said we have some pretty fast cars out in the streets and thats the facts!

Im not gonna start bashing shops cuz that will start too much problems here. i gave that up already.

hmmmmmmm defintion of a street; the webster's dictionary defines a street as- "a thoroughfare especially in a city, town, or village that is wider than an alley or lane and that usually includes sidewalks b : the part of a street reserved for vehicles c : a thoroughfare with abutting property"
c'mon man u dont know what a street is? it's that black top thing that u drive ur car on of............

boosted k20, take your bullshit and go back to b20vtec. your **** will be tolerated over there, but it wont be here. people on this board are looking for a reputable shop with a reputation. and not a shop that shows there customers jay hunts car at e-town and passes it off as there car... i have heard about that one , lol. beat it...

civicferio, if your interested in having an engine built, you can either contact me through honda-tech pm's or by calling me at the shop. i will warn you i dont answer the phone all that often due to how busy we are are the moment but if you leave a message i will be sure to get back to you.......Miller

I am sure there are a few different shops in that area that are good, but I know that RPM NYC does great work. I have dealt with them for over 5 years and they have always been on point. Good guys and great customer service. Give them a call (718) 740 - 3277 talk to Tommy or Chan

yes we do all forms of custom fabrication in house, ie.... custom turbo kits, chassis work, from 6pt's to 25.5 certified chassis'. we also have full service machine shop services available for all your engine building needs, as far as tuning, we offer a full aray of standalone tuning. if you want to tune on a dyno we have full access to a dyno-jet 248 whenever we need it right aroud the block from our shop location. thanks for your interest in my shop and if you are interested in setting up an appointment for work or to stop by and see what we are all about just give toss me a pm and i will be more then happy to discuss whatever work you need done...

If he is interested in an already built up all motor b-series then perhaps he can contact me via PM or email (vtec4gs@aol.com) as I have about 3 of them at the moment ... I'm in central NJ.
